- How can I update to Android 14?
Android 14 picked up the “beta” tag on Google Pixel devices a while back. But which non-Google handsets are eligible to get a taste of the Android 14 update and when? It actually depends on which phone you have in your pocket. Some devices from popular OEMs have already received their Android 14 updates โ albeit in pre-release developer preview or beta form โ while others will have to wait longer.
Before you jump on the bandwagon, note that OEM-specific beta releases don’t sync with Google’s beta initiative. You may not get periodic OTA updates on a preview channel like Pixels. Furthermore, pre-release builds are often pretty barebones compared to the respective OEM skins. Still, if you see your phone on this list, you’ll be among the first to get the stable Android 14 update when it’s finally ready.
Below you can find a list of non-Google devices that have joined the Android 14 party. For Google Pixel smartphones, see our Android 14 Download Index to grab download links.
If you decide to install the Android 14 beta release, be prepared to encounter tons of bugs and issues. These builds are intended for developers evaluating the new OS, so they are not everyday driver material. Moreover, if you decide to go back to the stable version of Android 13, you will have to wipe your entire device. As such, proceed with caution.

How can I update to Android 14?
While using a specially created recovery image is usually the default method for manual installation of the aforementioned Android 14 beta releases, we highly recommend reading the prerequisite version for each device before attempting the actual flashing process. Skipping this step can result in a hard brick.
In some cases (eg Xiaomi), flashable factory images are provided via Fastboot. However, the entire process is different (and more complicated) than on Google Pixel devices. To reiterate, backup your personal data, read the instructions posted by the relevant OEM thoroughly, and only then proceed with the installation.
That’s all we got so far. Make sure to bookmark this page as we’ll update it when we hear of a new Android 14 beta announcement!
